This year we took a driving trip through parts of Arizona and Utah to enjoy the upper & lower Antelope Canyons along with Zion & Bryce canyons. It was a great trip! I’ll post photos of the canyons later but while in Utah we stayed at the Big Yellow Inn in Cedar City. The Inn was great, antiques and little items of interest everywhere! It inspired me to do an architectural light painting of one of the living areas. The photo is created by combining multiple images where I actually ‘paint’ selected items in the room with a small flashlight and then combine the exposures in post production to create the finished piece. While it is more time consuming than traditional architectural photography, I am able to create a much more detailed and ‘alive’ final image.
